Finding Bigfoot Producer Unwittingly Discredits Show

Anyone with a bit of common sense knows that there is nothing real about reality TV, but some shows, like Finding Bigfoot, are so unbelievable that it's just makes you shake your head. Detractors of the show, like me, have been critical of the lack of any semblance of scientific investigation and the fact that the investigators find Bigfoot everywhere and in everything. Lead by Matt Moneymaker (His name couldn't be more fitting), from the Bigfoot Research Organization, who claims to know the intimate habits of Bigfoot in spite of his inability to prove one exists, the team act like fools every time they go into the woods. If a branch falls it was bigfoot, if there's a strange noise in the distance it's bigfoot, if there's a hole in the ground it had to be bigfoot, if Bobo (one of the cast members), blows a fart is was only because bigfoot was near.

To add to the ridiculous spectacle they call a show one of the producers recently said:

And as far as the show is concerned, I really don’t care if you or any of these other people on your page or on Cryptomundo like it or not- we don’t make it for you, we make it for the 1.6 million other people that watch it every week. If I was going to make a TV show for bigfooters, it would be a much different program, but I’m beholden to the network, not other bigfoot geeks. - Tyler William Bounds

When he says "bigfooters" I assume he's talking about the people who complain about the show - People who complain about the lack of real investigation or any desire to find real evidence. If the show is not for these people then who is it for? The only conclusion is that Finding Bigfoot is meant for people who don't care about really finding bigfoot and are content with the scripted drama of so-called reality TV.

It's pretty damming when the producer openly discredits the show by admitting that the very premise of the show is BS. Maybe the show should be renamed to 'Finding money' or 'Finding viewers' because it's clearly not about finding bigfoot.
