Sony Doesn't want Gamers Suing them

Isn't it interesting how videogame companies are increasingly including clauses in their terms of service that prevent customers from taking legal action against them? If the industry wasn't doing anything shady why the need to try and limit your customer's rights and satisfaction?

The latest company to do this is Sony who apparently sneaked a 'no sue' clause into their latest TOS update and now someone is suing them for it. I say good for him, and more gamers should wake the f*ck up and realize that their rights as consumers are being stripped by game companies day by day.

A few hours of entertainment (expensive as hell entertainment at that), is not worth me sacrificing my consumer rights and opening myself up to be raped by the videogame industry. People really need to take their fanboy hats off for a moment and see that things are getting really bad and trying to play a videogame in the near future will probably involve you signing over even more of your consumer rights away.

Seriously, EA is already stealing people's money by banning them from their games because of their completely unrelated forum. How bad do things have to get before gamers say enough is enough?
