E3 Left a Bad Taste in my Mouth

E3 this year has left me drained. After all the stupidity on the internet and fanboyism from the so-called gaming press I feel like I need to get away from games for a while. It's like I don't feel like talking about any news or getting excited about anything. It's depressing.

I don't think I've ever seen things this bad after an E3. People were calling for the rape and death of Cammie Dunaway because she supposedly talked to them like 5-year-olds. Other idiots were swearing off Nintendo because they didn't announce their top games even though many of them have already been released on Wii. It's like Nintendo has to release 10x as many games as the other console makers just to be considered equal. Microsoft and Sony release maybe 2 games a year, but Nintendo has to release 100 or the fanboys will swear them off forever.

It's like internet gamer filth had been building up for a while and E3 was the catalyst that bursted that disgusting, rotten bubble causing to spread to just about everywhere. Even the reporters were bad, and really showed how they hate casual gaming and Nintendo's direction. Some of them even took rude, accusatory tones in interviews.

In any case the whole thing was bad. I feel dirty for having focused so much on it trying to get the news, and even worse reading the horrible reactions. I need a shower.
